Super Duplex Steel Tubing from Wissa Pipes is composed of a balanced mix of austenitic and ferritic stainless steels, typically containing chromium (24–26%), nickel (6–8%), molybdenum (3–5%), and nitrogen for added strength. This composition provides exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The tubing exhibits impressive mechanical properties—high tensile strength up to 800–900 MPa, superior yield strength, and excellent impact toughness even at sub-zero temperatures.
